The Revit ProjectBox is used in all service phases of building services engineering. It contains comprehensive apps, families, schedules, tags and a predefined project structure for simple, fast construction according to standards. It is also possible for any company to integrate their own custom components with a touch of help of our apps. Predefined coding enables a smooth interaction with external calculation programs such as SOLAR-COMPUTER, ALPI, iDAT, RIB iTWO etc.

    collision and functional areas, IFC identifiers,

Heating
  • Automated placement/connection of radiators and underfloor heating areas
    Functional heating families can be placed manually or automatically distributed and connected in the model via app.
  • Faster construction of welded or flanged steel pipe routes
    Route construction routings with switchable families for component connections speed up modeling.
  • Direct control over heating load results
    Associative room tables of the heating loads enable preliminary planning with real heating load results from calculation programs. Comparisons between the result in the room and the modeled occupancy by radiators are possible.
  • Collision and functional areas
    Fittings have activatable interference bodies for collision checking in each phase.
Sanitary
  • Correct design of sanitary wastewater pipe routes
    Pipe routes can be modeled with gradients and correct lengths. 90° bends with double bends can also be set in routings and integrated into the modeling.
  • Extend the modeling with pre-wall installation and installation nozzles
    Connecting pipe routes to sanitary objects in the architecture using special functional object families. The connection families are assigned performance values for calculation, e.g. AW values.
  • Automatic connection by transferring an existing object
    If a sanitary object is connected with pipe systems, the connection can be automatically adopted for similar objects.
  • Component lists with pipe lengths
    Optional generation of mass list evaluations with measured fittings and fitting lengths.
Cooling
  • Convectors, chillers, floor ducts, pipe systems
    Special families and media for modeling optimal air conditioning systems.
  • Fittings in pipes take over the pipe system information
    General fittings, which are used in all trades, automatically adopt the pipe system information from the pipe routes. Use in labeling, parts lists and view definitions.
  • View templates for displaying mixed components for cooling and heating
    Constructed family objects in cooling and heating can be displayed in a visual view or in parts lists if there is a combinatorics in the trades.
Schematics (2D/3D)
  • Associative 2D schematics for heating, sanitary, ventilation, cooling, gas, sprinklers, communication technology
    Conveniently create linked 2D MEP diagrams from the 3D model information.
  • 3D object information link freely definable
    The following can be configured using the Schemata Settings Editor:
    Rule definition and mapping of 3D and 2D families.
    Definition of any parameters of the 3D object that are to be transferred associatively to the schema object.
Ventilation
  • Design according to DIN 18379 and ÖNorm 6015-2
    Evaluation of modeled components in DIN/ÖNorm parts lists using stored part families.
  • Automatic connection function
    Automatic application of modeled connection links to other outlets, e.g. from outlet to main route connection.
  • Avoidance of collisions
    If there are collisions within the modeling, an automatic bypass can be generated using bends.
Electrical
  • Simple placement of switches, sockets, IT, telecommunications or KNX objects as a group
    Construct 2D symbols and 3D model geometry via group modeling.
  • Automatic modeling in the building model
    Families placed on a basic component, e.g. door, can be automatically placed as a copy on similar basic components.
  • Functional route objects for clean room modeling
    Cable route families that are aligned with walls (route base is on the wall) can be integrated into the construction.
  • Suspensions for cable trays and conductors
    Suspensions that are easy to place and can be distributed in number and spacing, changing their width with the route cross-section.
Sprinkler
  • Preliminary planning of the sprinklers required in a room
    With the occupancy of MEP rooms in the construction model, the estimated occupancy of the room areas by sprinkler heads can be calculated using value lists in the ProjectBox.
  • Special sprinkler families
    Dry and wet sprinklers as single or row area distribution placements enable simple, distance-oriented modeling. Associated dry and wet sprinklers on nozzles, T-piece bends or via a flexible pipe allow modeling according to current standards.
  • Spray radius display for sprinklers
    Optional display of the spray radius of a sprinkler on the floor plan view, even if the sprinkler is located in gradient routes.
  • View display according to trigger temperature
    Color display of the placed sprinklers according to their triggering temperature.
  • Distribute and connect
    Various tools for creating, distributing and connecting sprinkler families.
Plant engineering
  • Information-rich intelligent fittings
    Switchable counter flange for the fitting input
    and outlet. Gasket type, screw type and
    number of bolts are also managed.
  • Pipe routings larger than DN500
    Welded or flanged steel pipe routings with
    different bend radii, 1D and > 1D up to
    DN1200 are available in the ProjectBox.
  • Parts lists for pipe fittings, pipes and valves
    The stored parts lists evaluate, in addition to the component size,
    also their flanges and their gaskets,
    screws and screw lengths.
